WELCOME TO THE FIRST ON SCENE WEBSITE

One in seven teenagers have found themselves in an emergency situation where a friend has drunk too much alcohol. In the last year alone 532,000 teenagers have been left to cope with a drunken friend who was sick, injured or unconscious.

It is not always alcohol related injuries that young people have to cope with. 89% of teenagers were confronted by a medical emergency 44% of them panicked and 46% simply didn’t know what to do.

The First On Scene initiative is a project by South Marr Community Safety Group supported by Community Safety for Aberdeenshire working in partnership with Aberdeen College and many other partners. We have produced four movies with lesson plans that will provide young people with life saving skills to help them deal with emergency situations confidently and quickly ..
